Past layouts (for Silent Rain... even though I've continued counting the versions...) :

Version 22.0 - MythBusters
Featuring : Tory Belleci, Kari Byron, Adam Savage, Jamie Hyneman and Grant Imahara from the tv show Mythbusters.
How I got the idea : I've been liking the show for a while but it really was during my Christmas holiday 2006 that I really officially became a fan. They were having some kind of Mythbusters marathon on tv, showing like two episodes everyday. When that marathon was done, I had a hard withdrawal period :P (LOL) So I decided my next layout would feature them. The quote on the layout is from Adam.
I had this layout from February 11th 2007 to ? (I promise I won't keep it for a whole year this time!)

Version 21.0 - Heavy on my heart
Featuring : Alexis Denisof (Wesley) and Amy Acker (Fred) from Angel. The lyrics are from the song "Heavy on my heart" by Anastacia.
How I got the idea : It was a bout time I made a new layout. After totally lacking of inspiration for a year, I decided to stop whining at how I couldn't make a good layout anymore and just go with my heart. This layout features two characters from Angel, Wesley and Fred. Now this is going to be spoilerish talk so if you don't want to be spoiled, don't read. I thought they made the perfect couple, just too bad they had to realise they both loved each other just before Fred died... The image is from the episode "A hole in the world", in which Fred breathes some dust from a sarcophagus and is turned into Illyria. It's one of the saddest Angel episode ever. Fred's dying scene is an awful tearjerker. I just wanted to make a sad layout, with sad lyrics. It's very simple but if you know Angel, you'll see it's a powerful layout...

Version 20.0 - Tears in the rain
Featuring : Chuck Comeau (Simple Plan)  and lyrics from "Blame it on the weatherman" by B*Witched.
How I got the idea : I totally redesigned my website. I found a new name (and better than the previous one... this was actually the name I had found for my dolls website) Now the website is for my art only. It was a coincidence that I redisigned the website for Version 20.0, but I think it's a very nice coincidence. Let's celebrate! This is the layout that I had on my LJ at the same moment. It features a picture from Simple Plan's video "Perfect" (Chuck is hidden behind those drums if you look carefully ^_^) and lyrics from the B*Witched song "Blame in on the weatherman". Did I ever tell you I love rain? :P

Version 2.0 - The field
How I got the idea : I was talking with Iva and she proposed me to make a new layout implying cows. Since I'm gonna study in Agronomy, I thought it was a great idea. I decided to call it "The field" cos, if you haven't got the concept yet, my website is called "Marie's heaven" so the layouts are related to places I consider as heavens for me.

How I got the idea : Well, this is very easy. I love forest and since a couple of weeks I'm officially an elf (in my dreams of course... *sigh*)

How I got the idea : I'm in a holiday mood right now! ^_^ I did this layout because I'm away from home for 4 months now and I can't wait to be home for Christmas.

How I got the idea : I love farm animals and being on a farm is like... the greatest thing! This cute layout was made with an image Iva sent me... Now I'm asking... where would I be without Iva???

Version 6.0 - F1 pit lane
Featuring : Jacques Villeneuve and Kimi Raikkonen (pictures from http://www.jacques.villeneuve.com and http://www.girlsf1.com) and also a quote from the movie On The Line ("I'm about the love... and the passion!")
How I got the idea : Well... it's pretty obvious... I love Formula One and Jacques and Kimi... and I thought that quote from On The Line fitted well... F1 and the guys... I'm about the love and the passion...

Featuring : The Tower Bridge and a quote from the Justin Timberlake song "Cry me a river"
How I got the idea : My dream is to live in London one day. I love the country, I love the city. I made this layout with a Tower Bridge pic I found and I added the rain (I love to do rain with PSP... so fun!) My first pop-up layout. I'm really proud of it.

Version 8.0 - Rohan
Featuring : A vector art I made of Miranda Otto as Eowyn (character of Lord of the Rings) and a quote from the movie soundtrack (track 12) The song is called The Missing and here's the translation of what's written on the layout : "And in that moment, She felt the loss, Of everything that had been missed" It's written in Old English. All the pics used were taken on http://www.councilofelrond.com
How I got the idea : I'm a fan of LOTR. I read the books and my favorite character is Eowyn. And I thought Miranda Otto did a great job as Eowyn in the movie. I made a vector art of her and then thought I'd make a layout with it.

Featuring : Lyrics from the S club song "Have you ever".
How I got the idea : I'm a very big S club fan (guess you all know) and they annouced they'd be splitting up... I'm sad... This is when I decided to stop the concept of "heaven". Not because I was depressed but because of lack of inspiration for layouts ^_~

How I got the idea : I wanted a better layout to say goodbye to S club. I'm very proud about it.

Version 11.0 - Wish upon a star
Featuring : Lyrics from the Disney song with the same title.
How I got the idea : I was having fun making a quilt pattern in PSP when I decided to use it for a layout. Originally, there was an NSync picture in the middle of it (because they are singing the song on the Disney Mania cd) But I was in a mood that made me think all celebrity layouts were dumb. And I had never put a doll on a layout. So I made that cute doll with a base I found on Angy-Chan's dolls website and used it on my layout. It was also the first time I started using a blog ^_^

Version 12.0 - Who do you think you are?
Featuring : Mary-Kate and Ashley Olsen and lyrics from the S club song "Who do you think you are?"
How I got the idea : I'm a fan of the Olsen twins since I saw them on tv when I was younger (it was in fact in the movie "It takes two") Now, I still sometimes watch them in So little time (their tv series). Then, I decided to put those S club lyrics because the song is talking about clones. And I thought it would be funny lyrics to use with a twins picture ^_^ .

Version 13.0 - Do your thing
Featuring : Lyrics from the NSync song "Do your thing" and pictures from the wonderful Rachael Hale.
How I go the idea : I got accepted into Vet Med and I wanted a cute layout (this is why I chose pink... it's actually my first pink layout... and also my first horizontally scrolling layout) with animals ^_^

Version 14.0 - Elijah at SNL
Featuring : Mainly Elijah Wood, but also Jimmy Fallon and Maya Rudolph from Saturday Night Live
How I got the idea : I watched SNL the night it was hosted by Elijah Wood (I had watched it before, duh, I'm not such a teebee...) and I thought it was so funny I had to make a layout out of it. I think it's my best layout so far :) I love it!

Featuring : Dominic Monaghan and lyrics from the Rachel Stevens song "Funky Dory"
How I got the idea : Well, I'm changing celebrity crush almost ever month lately... Last month it was Elijah, now it's Dom :P Next month will probably be Elijah again and then... well you understood the thing :P I just thought those pics were spiffy and I thought they fitted the "Funky Dory" lyrics :)

How I got the idea : Well I wanted something funny even though the hiatus was a sad thing.

Version 17.0 - The colour of blue
Featuring : My own vector art and lyrics from the S club 7 song "The colour of blue"
How I got the idea : I was searching for idea and then Iva told me I should do a vector doll. So, after days of trying to do something with PSP, I came up with this one, which looks pretty good ^_^

How I got the idea : I was listening to Everytime and I realised how incredible is this song so I wanted to make a layout featuring the lyrics from the song and I searched for nice, sad Britney pics.

Version 19.0 - Hey Kitty Kitty
Featuring : Hannah Spearrit and the lyrics of S club's song "Hey Kitty Kitty"
How I got the idea : I wanted to make a layout with Hannah because I think she rules and it was just fair to put the lyrics of a S club with her singing solo. The pictures are from her movie "Agent Cody Banks 2"
I had this layout from September 13th 2004  to January 31st 2005 (I can't believe I kept that layout for 4 months! I kept it as long as I could because people made comments and just to annoy them, I decided to keep it until I'd be tired of it. I'm not tired but since I'm redesigning the website, I have to change it.)
